Environmental Education

Environmental education describes the organised efforts to teach people about various environmental issues, including how the natural world functions, what problems exist, what technologies and other solutions we have at our disposal, and what behavioural changes individuals and businesses can make in order to live and work more sustainably. It aims to inform, create awareness, change attitudes, teach new skills, including helping people to accurately analyse the impacts of different environmental measures, and to encourage greater participation in environmentally protective activities.
