Environmental Ethics
Environmental ethics is the philosophical discipline which explores the moral relationship between human beings and our natural environment. It addresses questions about the value of nature, the responsibilities of humans towards the environment, and the ethical implications of environmental policies and practices. Environmental ethics encompasses a wide range of theories, principles, and perspectives, such as anthropocentrism, biocentrism, ecocentrism, deep ecology, and environmental justice, which can inform and guide individual behaviour, public policy, and corporate sustainability.
