Environmental Performance Index (EPI)

The Environmental Performance Index (EPI) is an international, biennial ranking which evaluates the environmental health and sustainability of countries based on a range of indicators, such as air and water quality, biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, and waste management. The EPI provides a comparative analysis of different countries' environmental policies and progress towards their respective sustainability goals. It helps to identify problems and best practices, set targets, understand outcomes, inform policy development, and track environmental performance over time.
